Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of LoveFromMe ("the service", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

LoveFromMe helps you remember occasions and write personal notes for people in your life, with AI assistance. The service is offered as-is and may change or improve over time.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it.
• Provide accurate information when you sign up.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use LoveFromMe.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use LoveFromMe to:

• break the law, harass, or harm others;
• store or send content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes someone's rights;
• hold information about other people without a reasonable basis;
• attempt to disrupt, abuse, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service.

Your content

You keep ownership of the information and notes you create. You grant us permission to store and process that content only as needed to provide the service to you (including generating note drafts). You're responsible for what you write and send.

AI-generated notes

LoveFromMe uses AI to suggest note text. Drafts are a starting point — you should read and edit them before sending. You're responsible for any note you choose to send.

Paid plans

LoveFromMe offers an optional paid monthly or yearly subscription, billed through Stripe in your local currency at the price shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time via the billing portal in the app; your access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. New accounts can try the service free (currently 3 notes) before subscribing.

Availability and "as is"

We work to keep LoveFromMe running well, but it's provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The service may occasionally be unavailable, and features may change.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, LoveFromMe is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other New Zealand law that cannot be excluded.

Ending your use

You can stop using LoveFromMe and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts will have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above, and significant changes will be notified in the app where appropriate.
